What’s a CSA Share?


CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture.”

When you buy a CSA share, you support your local farmer and sustainable agriculture by ordering and paying up front – so the farm knows how much to plant and has the means to do so.

In exchange, you receive a box (weekly or every other week) mid-June through mid-October of seasonal, certified organic produce. It’s typically harvested the day of delivery or the day prior, which means the nutrients and shelf-life of the food can be greater than food you find in the grocery store – food that’s often shipped to Minnesota from other states or countries.

How to Order

Step 1: Choose your Share Size

*Returning customers: Reserve yours before January 1st for a discounted price: $575 (Large) or $365 (Small).

Step 3: Order and pay – online or by mail

To order online, click on the link below and follow the prompts. After submitting your order, you will receive an automatic reply from Bakers’ Acres, LLC (info@bakersacresfarm.com) with your confirmation. If you don’t see this email within 30 minutes, check your spam folder.

You can pay with a credit card or PayPal account online (follow the prompts), or, you can mail a check. For those who reserve a share with a $100 deposit, we will invoice you for the remainder, or, include a check for the remaining balance postdated to March 15.

Step 4: Wait excitedly for your first box!

After placing your order, the farm will email you a receipt and additional information. In June, we will begin sending the weekly newsletters and pick-up reminders. Also, you can follow farm updates on Facebook, PinterestInstagram, Twitter and the blog!
